      Details

      I'm using JBoss/Wildfly, which supports deploying JARs directly (e.g., doesn't have to be a WAR or EAR).

      I use this to deploy the PostgreSQL JDBC driver:

                              <execution>
                                  <!-- tie wildfly start to the pre-integration-test goal -->
                                  <id>start-cargo-and-deploy-stuff</id>
                                  <phase>pre-integration-test</phase>
                                  <goals><goal>start</goal></goals>
                                  <configuration>
                                      <deployables>
                                          <deployable>
                                                <groupId>org.postgresql</groupId>
                                                <artifactId>postgresql</artifactId>
                                                <type>jar</type>
                                          </deployable>

      I can submit a PR if someone points me in the right direction.
